What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician Manager PLC position at New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program?
Duties:
· Organize and Manage field service team including hiring and delegating job tasks.
· Provide customers with post-sale technical support via phone and on-line.
· Schedule and assign field service calls, rebuilds, startups, training, etc.
· Manage testing and customer acceptance in-house or at the customer facility.
· Manage service call documentation and event summary reports.
Skills/Qualifications
· Technical education and 5 years in a similar role are preferred.
· Prior experience managing equipment Field Service is required.
· Strong scheduling and organizational skills.
· Technical troubleshooting and diagnostic ability required.
· Experience providing technical support to customers.
· Understanding of machine design concepts (mechanical, electrical, automation) highly desired.
· Proficient with mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, PLCs, industrial gas panels.
· Experienced in Microsoft office products (Word- Excel-Power Point).
· Must hold a valid driver’s license and a valid passport.
· A willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
