Job Description
New Jersey Resources is seeking a Manager Master Data Management (MDM) to oversee NJR's MDM policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data flows within Oracle ERP Cloud and between Oracle and periphery systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and enforce standards and rules for data management within Oracle ERP Cloud and between Oracle and edge systems, including inventory, financial planning application, customer information system, asset management software, payroll, reconciliation tools, etc.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure changes to master data align with MDM policies and procedures, accounting practices, and business objectives.
- Provide direction on Oracle architecture, functionality, and design decisions to promote best practices and align business requests with ERP design principles and goals.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and prioritize issues related to data quality, accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Solve data management issues and requests, focusing on continuous improvement of end-user experiences.
- Partner with stakeholders to optimize Oracle functionality and configurations, driving efficiencies and best practices.
- Maintain SOX controls and serve as liaison on auditor documentation requests.
- Develop and maintain MDM metrics and KPIs for reporting and management of related activities and issues.
- Collaborate on system implementations and day-to-day operations to ensure successful and accurate transfer of data between Oracle Fusion Cloud and edge system integrations.
- Grow a team of analysts and mentor staff on master data principles, governance, and procedures to optimize data flows and integrity.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Information Systems.
- 3 years of Master Data Management experience.
- 7 years of Accounting/Financial Systems experience.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud architecture, functionality, and underlying configurations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project and time management skills with ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal and listening skills with ability to lead requirements gathering discussions with key stakeholders.
- Critical thinking with ability to understand nuances of NJR's businesses and related data requirements.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle reporting tools (FR Studio, Smartview, OTBI).
- Stay up-to-date with latest developments in Oracle Fusion Cloud through online training or conferences.
