What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Manager / Warehouse Operations position at NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE AUTHORITY?
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Works under the direction of the Deputy Director of Procurement and Materials Management (PMM), or designee, fulfilling management responsibilities necessary to administer, monitor, control, and supervise policies and procedures associated with Inventory warehouse staff and operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage the daily operations of the Authority’s inventory warehouse and staff
2. Review, approve and manage time off requests for staff
3. Serve as the subject matter expert for the Inventory module of the NJTA Financial Accounting System (“PeopleSoft”) and Warehouse Management System (“High Jump”) and troubleshoots functional issues with ITS and/or other departments.
4. Serve as backup approver for weekly replenishment requisitions.
5. Review daily reconciliation report and resolve issues between PeopleSoft and High Jump.
6. Work with vendors and third-party transport agencies to ensure prompt delivery of goods
7. Review and process all Inventory Adjustments
8. Coordinate annual physical inventory and periodic cycle count and perform analysis of the results
9. Troubleshoot and resolve receiving and/or invoicing issues as needed
10. Serve as backup approver for weekly and bi-weekly payroll
11. Enforce Authority Policies and Procedures as it relates to Inventory staff and operations
12. Recommend process enhancements to improve warehouse efficiency
13. Ensures continued training and cross training of all staff
14. Must be available to work overtime including weather related or other emergencies
15. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Deputy Director, PMM, or designee

RESPONSIBILITY FOR RELATIONSHIPS:
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all employees of the Authority. Represent the Authority in a positive, professional, and confidential manner in all dealings with external agencies, contractors, and all other individuals. Maintain professional demeanor even in high stress emergency and weather situations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University in Supply Chain Management or related field.
· At least five (5) years supervisory experience in Inventory, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or related field
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and works well under pressure and deadlines
· Experience supervising union personnel and administering union contracts
· Demonstrated written/oral communication and inter-personal skills. Strong analytical ability, decision making and professional judgement
· Demonstrate working knowledge of Financial Accounting software, Warehouse Management software and Microsoft Office
· Possess a valid New Jersey Driver’s License.

Pay: $82,011.00 - $122,400.00 per year
