New Journey is looking to fill a position for a Full Time Counselor at our Opioid Treatment Program in Annapolis MD. We are a growing outpatient methadone/buprenorphine clinic that has been providing comprehensive care to Anne Arundel County since 2015. We provide compassionate and evidence-based treatment, aimed at improving the quality of life for those that we serve. Patient Care is at the heart of everything that we do.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Intakes new clients completing bio psycho-social
- Formulates individualized treatment plans with clients
- Counsel clients, individually or in group sessions, to support them in their journey of overcoming addiction, adjusting to life, and making positive changes.
- Direct client service including individual, group, and/or family counseling
- Participates in individual/group supervision
- Attends treatment team and in-service training meeting
- Answer phones as needed
Education Requirements:
- Must hold at minimum a Trainee status or higher with the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors, or hold a license with the Maryland Board of Social Work
- Accepting applications for Trainee, CSC-AD, CAC-AD
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
