Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software and is preferred to have a working knowledge of ProviderOne and DDA systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Prepare financial reports in accordance with GAAP standards, providing insights into the company’s financial status.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts based on financial data analysis.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
Preferences
- Experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within accounting or finance.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP.
- Familiar with ProviderOne Portal and DDA Systems
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks is highly desirable.
- Experience with account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
