The Learning and Development Intern position supports the creation and maintenance of technical documentation such as standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training materials. Gathers information and ensures that all documentation meets company standards. This position will work closely with the LMS team and will receive close supervision and general review of work.

- Assist in writing and editing company technical documents, including product operator manuals, parts pages, work instructions, training documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs), etc. with supervision.
- Works closely with the LMS team and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on technical information needed to training materials.
- Assists with creating and updating technical content according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
- Provides feedback and suggestions for improving documentation processes and practices. Assists with formatting and proofreading documents to ensure high-quality output.

The noise level in the office work environment is usually quiet. Employee may be exposed to shop environment while distributing documents to shop area. When on shop floor, employee will be required to wear safety glasses at all times, steel-toed footwear and ear protection when job demands presence in areas outside safety zones and gloves when handling material. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration, and occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the plant shop environment is moderately loud.
