New Leaf Clinic is a mental health and substance use disorder clinic serving those with severe mental illness and severe SUD. We are looking for a clinical director with expertise and passion in both areas. As well as a passion for leading and team development.

Position Summary:

The Clinical Program Director at New Leaf Clinic plays a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the development and implementation of clinical programs that align with our mission to provide comprehensive, client-centered care. This role is responsible for providing guidance to direct care therapists and ensuring that all clinical staff, including Targeted Case Managers, Adult Peer Support Specialists, and licensed therapists, are supervised in compliance with Kentucky AODE regulations and MSG 907 KAR 15:010. The Program Director will also serve as the DUI Clinical Supervisor, ensuring that all DUI-related programming meets state requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Staff Supervision & Compliance:
  • Provide direct supervision to clinical staff, including but not limited to LCSWs, LPCCs, LPCAs, CSWs, Targeted Case Managers, and Adult Peer Support Specialists, ensuring compliance with Kentucky state regulations.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of supervision plans for all clinical staff, ensuring adherence to 907 KAR 15:010 and other relevant regulations.
  • Act as the DUI Clinical Supervisor, overseeing all DUI programs to ensure compliance with Kentucky DUI regulations, including clinical supervision, program structure, and documentation.
  • Regularly audit clinical documentation, ensuring it meets state regulations, New Leaf Clinic policies, and billing requirements.
  • Provide Assessments for new client intakes that include all required documentation per New Leaf Clinic policy and state regulation.
  • Leadership in Training & Development:
  • Develop and implement training programs for clinical staff that align with Kentucky AODE and MSG 907 KAR 15:010 regulations, ensuring all clinicians are up-to-date with state requirements and best practices.
  • Lead the facilitation of clinic programming and curriculum development, ensuring that all programs are evidence-based and in line with New Leaf Clinic's certifications and goals.
  • Mentor and guide clinical staff in professional development, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery and client outcomes.
  • Program Development & Curriculum Facilitation:
  • Build out and oversee the curriculum for all programming at New Leaf Clinic, ensuring alignment with Kentucky certifications and AODE regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical programs, making adjustments as needed to maintain high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and other leadership team members to develop new programs and services that meet the evolving needs of the community and the clinic's client base.
  • Performance Management & Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of clinical staff, providing constructive feedback and implementing performance improvement plans as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to New Leaf Clinic's internal policies for clinical documentation, auditing programs regularly to ensure compliance with state regulations and internal standards.
  • Sign off on clinician notes as required for billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Kentucky Medicaid and other insurance provider requirements.
  • Perform Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, with active licensure in Kentucky per 908 KAR 1:370 and 907 KAR 15:010. Applicant must be a fully licensed clinician - LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Licensed psychologist. LCADC will not meet criteria for our regulations.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years clinical experience and 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Additional Certification: Must meet the qualifications for a DUI Clinical Supervisor under Kentucky regulations.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Kentucky AODE regulations, MSG 907 KAR 15:010, and other relevant state laws governing behavioral health services.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop clinical staff. Excellent organizational and auditing skills, with attention to detail in documentation and program evaluation.
