Overview
The Senior Move Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of client moves, including planning, coordination, and execution. This role involves working closely with clients, supervising team members, and ensuring the highest level of service and professionalism. Senior Move Managers specialize in managing senior transitions, requiring compassion, organization, and a strong understanding of client needs. We are not a moving company! Instead, we specialize in preparing our clients’ homes for a seamless move by providing downsizing, organizing, and packing services. We partner with professional moving companies to ensure every step of the process is smooth and stress-free for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Client Interaction:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the move process.
- Conduct in-home or virtual assessments to determine client needs.
- Create tailored move plans, including timelines and budgets.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise packing and organizing teams during move projects.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and best practices.
Move Coordination:
- Oversee logistics, including working with movers, vendors, and senior living communities.
- Schedule and monitor key activities such as packing, transportation, and unpacking.
- Address and resolve any issues or changes in project scope.
Client Support:
- Provide emotional support to clients during stressful transitions.
- Assist clients with downsizing decisions, sorting belongings, and creating a space plan for their new home.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain detailed project records, including estimates, contracts, and inventory lists.
- Communicate regularly with management about project progress.
- Ensure accurate billing and invoicing for services rendered.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and CRM software (e.g., SMMWare).
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks related to move management.
- Previous work experience with seniors or children is highly valued and preferred, but it is not required. We welcome candidates with transferable skills and a passion for providing compassionate, client-centered service.

Job Requirements
- We provide access to a company vehicle for certain tasks; however, there will be times when you are required to use your personal vehicle for work-related activities. Mileage reimbursement may be provided.
Salary/Compensation
- Hourly rate: $25-30/hour, depending on experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
