What You’ll Do:
- Oversee all financial procedures by developing and implementing accounting policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounting team (1–3 direct reports), providing strategic guidance and operational support.
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and present KPIs to senior leadership.
- Oversee inventory valuation and cost control, including tracking materials, WIP, and finished goods, as well as leading the annual physical inventory.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes, ensuring effective financial and IT controls are in place.
- Perform financial analysis to support tax provision preparation and ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory filings.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- 7 or more years of experience in a Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong background in manufacturing or distribution industries is required (minimum 7 years)
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, accounting procedures, and relevant legislation
- Proven hands-on experience in general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
- Skilled in cash flow management, financial forecasting, and risk assessment
- Demonstrated experience with ERP system implementation and ongoing management
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
