Pre-K Head Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a mature Christian individual who is hardworking, passionate and exuberant. The ideal preschool teacher will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing engaging curriculum activities that promote learning through play and exploration, while ensuring the well-being of each child in the classroom.

*Please note - this teaching position would begin in August 2025 for the upcoming school year of '25 - '26. The hours would be 8 AM - 12:30 PM Monday thru Friday.*

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Educate children in various subjects including art, reading, math, science, and social studies.
• Monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or general education is required.
• Experience working with children in a preschool or educational setting is preferred.
• Ability to develop engaging curriculum tailored to preschool-aged children.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children are essential qualities for this role.
