Location: Barnum, MN

Salary: $62,400 - $72,800 per year

At New Life Construction, we don’t build houses—we restore and renew homes, much like how coffee restores us every morning. We’re on the hunt for a Lead Carpenter who knows their way around a tool belt, can lead a team without breaking a sweat, and can tackle anything from kitchen remodels to siding installs with confidence.

What You'll Be Doing (Besides Looking Awesome in a Tool Belt):

🔨 Running the Show – Lead a crew, manage multiple projects at a time, and make sure everything runs smoother than fresh drywall.

🛠 Hands-On Work – From trim to windows, bathrooms to kitchens—you’ll be in the thick of it. No standing around pretending to be busy!

📋 Planning & Problem-Solving – Weather issues? Delayed deliveries? Unexpected structural surprises? You’ll figure it out like the construction ninja you are.

👷‍♂️ Keeping Everyone Safe – Making sure everyone follows safety protocols because we like our employees with all their fingers.

💰 Budgeting & Reporting – Keep projects on track, document progress, and make sure we stay in the black (not the red).

📸 Photo Ops – Take progress pictures. Bonus points if you manage to get an artsy "before and after" shot.

What We're Looking For:

✔ Experience Matters – 3 years of construction and leadership experience required (sorry, building LEGO houses doesn’t count).

✔ Multi-Tasking Master – Ability to manage multiple jobs at once and a crew of up to four people.

✔ Communication Skills – Must be able to explain things clearly, whether to customers, crew members, or that one guy who insists he "knows a better way to do it."

✔ Driver’s License – Because job sites don’t visit themselves. (DOT Exam Card required.)

✔ Tech-Savvy – We don’t expect you to be a computer genius, but you should at least know how to check your email.

Bonus Points If You Have:

➕ 5-7 years of experience (we love seasoned pros!)

➕ A knack for customer service (because we like happy clients)

➕ A strong back and a good sense of humor (both will come in handy)
