With 15 providers across three locations, we specialize in medication management, psychological testing, nutrition therapy, and mental health therapy for children, individuals, couples, and families.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Mental Health Receptionist for our Ankeny, IA location. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment while managing daily administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in clients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage provider calendars
- Maintain client confidentiality and uphold HIPAA regulations
- Process payments and verify insurance information
- Ensure completion of client paperwork
- Handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy
- Assist with administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and correspondence
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in technology – comfortable using computers, office equipment, and troubleshooting minor technical issues
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems – familiarity with managing client records digitally (or willingness to learn)
- Word processing and document management – strong skills in Microsoft Word and Google Docs
- Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, etc.) – ability to manage calendars, emails, chats, and documents
- Data entry accuracy – ability to input client information with attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of mental health and insurance terminology – helpful but not required
- HIPAA certification is a plus (can be provided if needed)
