Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral issues and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to track progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavior management techniques and best practices.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups and adjust strategies based on data collected.
- Advocate for clients’ needs within various settings, ensuring they receive appropriate support.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to behavioral health.
- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
- Previous experience in patient care settings is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
