Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide crisis management and intervention services to individuals experiencing acute emotional distress.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and interns in social work practices and methodologies.
- Collaborate with community resources for workforce development and support services.
- Offer addiction counseling and support for clients struggling with substance use disorders.
- Engage in child welfare practices, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in various settings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in case reviews and team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Experience
- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
- Current state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Proven experience in crisis intervention, behavioral health, and mentoring within a clinical setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs is a plus.
- Strong skills in supervising staff or interns, along with experience in workforce development initiatives.
- Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective client interactions.
