Position Summary: Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager supports the organization’s growth by planning, coordinating, and executing marketing and advertising initiatives. This role is essential for driving revenue and maximizing the organization’s return on investment through effective marketing strategies. The Marketing Manager's responsibilities include influencing creative direction, supporting business strategy, conducting market research, managing pricing initiatives, and overseeing product marketing, communications, advertising, and public relations.

Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

The Marketing Manager will contribute to the assessment, creation, and execution of the company’s marketing plans. This role involves organizing and managing marketing efforts and fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams—especially customer experience and sales—to achieve maximum results. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, efficient, team-oriented, and skilled in multitasking.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist in developing and managing marketing strategies and campaigns within budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with external marketing agencies for the design and production of marketing materials, campaigns, and sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with customer experience and sales teams to brainstorm and develop innovative ideas.
  • Help structure the marketing team to align with organizational objectives.
  • Negotiate and manage advertising contracts to maximize exposure.
  • Identify and explore potential new markets, creating strategies to enter and engage these markets effectively.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to stay informed on trends and customer preferences.
  • Develop and implement promotional campaigns that enhance product/service visibility.
  • Establish pricing strategies to attract and retain target customers based on market insights.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns, monitor performance, and report analytics to leadership.
  • Publish digital marketing content and manage social media and online profiles.
  • Oversee and evaluate digital marketing efforts, including social media, email, SMS, and search engine campaigns, making updates as necessary.
  • Ensure the accuracy and relevancy of website content.
  • Coordinate community events and organize live or online product demos to engage with potential customers.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned by the CEO.
Requirements:


Job Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of two years of marketing experience preferred, with expertise in traditional and digital marketing and social media management. Experience as a marketing manager or similar role preferred. Familiarity with WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong leadership, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands:

  • Mental: Requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Physical: Includes regular walking, standing, sitting, and lifting up to 20 lbs. Some travel required (approximately 15%), potentially involving overnight stays and a valid driver’s license.
  • Environmental: Office environment with standard lighting and climate control.
  • Manual Dexterity: Proficient use of hands for computer and office equipment.
  • Audible: Effective communication skills for in-person, telephone, and digital interactions.
  • Visual: Ability to read, interpret documents, and use office equipment; color perception is helpful.
