Your new role
As the Vice President - Client Delivery you will be responsible, for all successful operations with several of our most significant clients in the Contingent space. You will be overseeing MSPs, VOP and SOW expansion. You will work closely with the Global Sales lead to see how to best expand existing account- vertically as well as globally and you will be accountable for ensuring client satisfaction through flawless delivery throughout all of your accounts
You will be responsible for:
• Client Relationship Development: Drive and lead client relationship development, aiming to build long-lasting relationships in the C-Suite and ensuring Hays is seen as a thought leader in solving clients' business challenges.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Accountable for stakeholder engagement and facilitating introductions for new sales opportunities with core stakeholders, including client sponsors, procurement directors, HR directors, and C-level executives (CIO/CPO/CFO).
• Professional Representation: Ensure Hays is represented professionally in all dealings with candidates and clients, maintaining client satisfaction through rapid responses and proactive engagement.
• Service Delivery and Client Engagement: Ensure the delivery of services that engage clients, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
• Account and Portfolio Growth: Set joint targets with senior leadership to ensure appropriate growth in client portfolios, driving growth through sales engagement and spotting opportunities for service expansion.
• Financial Management: Accountable for client financial management, including P&L, forecasting, headcount, contract maintenance, and cost base to deliver/exceed budgeted profit.
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery to clients.
• Sales Opportunities: Identify and maximize sales opportunities to increase revenue and profit through current business or new product introductions by working in conjunction with our Global Sales team when appropriate.
• Service Delivery Accountability: Accountable for overall service delivery to clients, including formal client management through regular meetings to ensure SLA and contract commitments are met.
• Compliance and Negotiation: Ensure compliance with contracts, service agreements, and legislative requirements, and conduct professional negotiations with clients and vendors.
• Technology and Data Integrity: Lead and drive the use of technology systems to enhance operational efficiencies, ensuring data integrity and quality.
• Team Management and Development: Manage and develop teams to deliver contracted services, including direct reports, succession planning, talent management, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with client and Hays' values.
What you will have demonstrated experience in:
• Minimum 10 years of leading MSP, RPO and Managed service functions and operations globally Successfully leading accounts with a global approach, managing cross functional teams and driving results.
• Leadership and Influence: Strong leadership behaviors, coaching and mentoring skills, able to inspire others, and lead by example. Demonstrates strong influencing, negotiation, and tenacity skills managing cross functioning global teams.
• Strategic Relationship Management: Excellent relationship management, strategic networking skills, and thought leadership on recruitment strategies such as DEI and EVP.
• Problem Solving and Decision Making: Strong problem-solving, escalation management skills, and proven experience in organizational decision-making and strategy at a senior global level
• Change and Risk Management: Able to effectively manage change, recognize and manage risk, and design and lead business improvements.
• Data and Technology Utilization: Ensures effective use of technology and systems, drives focus on data accuracy, security, and integrity, and able to interpret data to understand and drive performance.
• Financial and Operational Planning: Significant forecasting, budgeting, and planning experience, with a focus on organizational efficiency and effectiveness ideally using Microsoft or Power BI tools
• Presentation and Facilitation: Able to present with impact and facilitate workshops effectively.
• Adaptability and Emotional Intelligence: Ability to demonstrate adaptability, agility, responsiveness, emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and spirit.
