Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Music Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive music instruction to secondary-level students. The Music Teacher will help foster a love for music, encourage student creativity, and support student learning across various areas of the subject, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
Performance Responsibilities :
Instructional Planning & Delivery :
Guide students in the achievement of curriculum goals related to music education.
Student Progress & Assessment :
Regularly evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Classroom Environment & Climate :
Establish and maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning, one that reflects student maturity and interests.
Collaboration & Communication :
Collaborate with colleagues, students, and parents to improve student learning outcomes.
Professional Development :
Continuously strive to maintain and improve professional competence through workshops, training, and peer collaboration.
School Policies & Procedures :
Assist school administration in implementing school policies, rules, and regulations related to student life and conduct.
Other Duties :
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the principal, related to music instruction or school operations.

Working Conditions :
Salary Range : As determined by professional experience and NLEA Contract.
Terms of Employment : Ten month year. Salary and work year are determined by the Board of Education and the Teachers’ Bargaining Unit.
