General Definition of Work
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Middle School Principal provides leadership for the instructional program, as well as coordinating the implementation, review, and revision of the curriculum at the building level. Managers the operation and all functions of the grade 5-8 middle school. Supervises school staff regarding instruction, curriculum, student programs, and issues, and building operations. Schedules and attends meetings, as appropriate. Leads the building improvement process.

Essential Functions
Master’s degree or Specialist Degree in Educational Administration or Educational Leadership.
Experience as a principal is preferred but not required.
Middle School teaching experience is preferred (Grades 5-8).
