Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant at New Mexico Center for Pain & Wellness, located in Albuquerque, NM. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for patient care activities, managing medical records, assisting with medical procedures, and ensuring the medical office runs efficiently. Daily tasks include taking patient histories, recording vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting healthcare providers during patient examinations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology
- Experience in managing a Medical Office and handling Medical Records
- Strong Patient Care skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare is a plus
