Target Pay Range/Rate: $28.24 per hour OR $58,739 annually
The Administrative Office of the Courts is recruiting for a full-time, term, Pretrial Electronic Monitoring and Supervision Officer positions #10116574-21800 in Albuquerque. NM. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Acting under general supervision of the Electronic Monitoring Supervision (EMS) Program Supervisor and/or AOC or district court Pretrial Program Manager, EMS Officers work from a centralized unit respond to alerts generated by GPS software for defendants ordered to GPS Monitoring, which could lead to the issuance of a warrant and alerting law enforcement to assist. EMS Officers also complete administrative tasks to assist in the fidelity of data and efficient processes within the AOC. The EMS Unit only operates outside normal business hours, covering overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. The current shift being advertised is: Saturday to Wednesday Swings 3:30pm-12am. This schedule is subject to change to meet the needs of the Judiciary (adjustments for holidays mainly). Finalist(s) may be subject to criminal background checks.

COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicant should demonstrate their knowledge of of legal and evidence-based pretrial supervision using electronic monitoring technology and protocols; court processes; rules and statutes governing bond/bail and release from detention; NM law, civil and criminal procedure; legal terminology; investigative techniques using governmental investigative resources.

Work is performed in an office or court setting. A valid driver's license and travel may be required. The assigned work schedule may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. The employee must regularly interact positively with co-workers, clients, the public, judges, and justices.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice, social sciences or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Education Substitution: Four (4) years’ of directly related or relevant experience may substitute on a year for year basis.
- Experience: One (1) year experience in criminal justice, social services, probation, corrections or a related field.
- Experience Substitution: None
- Other: Must obtain and maintain National Crime Information Center (NCIC) certification within six (6) months of hire.
