POSITION TITLE: Marketing & Events Manager
REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the development, execution, and evaluation of a strategic marketing plan including securing, managing, and marketing the member benefit program. Responsible also for coordinating our four statewide premier events as well as managing the sponsorship program for New Mexico Farm & Livestock Bureau.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
• Develop and execute the annual strategic marketing plan
• Develop marketing promotions (promote the organization, brand, membership, New Mexico Ag In the Classroom, and advocacy).
• Evaluate strategic marketing plan annually.
• Work with vendors to place and buy media.
• Develop and manage New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau’s sponsorship program.
• Provide benefit information to members and agents.
• Develop a trade show booth for NMF&LB and coordinate the organization’s booth at various events and trade shows.
• Coordinate member benefit services to provide value-added membership to all dues-paying members.
• Keep contact with local benefit providers.
• Increase the company's relationship with Farm Bureau Financial Services agents.
• Coordinate and lead staff and members in the execution of the four statewide premier events. (hotel contracts, sponsorships, staff responsibilities).
• Update benefit information housed on nmflb.org and its mobile application.
• Create and update membership marketing collateral for counties, FBFS, and programs.
• Confirm membership status for different benefits.
• Identify opportunities to market membership and build the value of membership.
• Assist in the IT department with board members and staff.
• Ability to travel. Some nights and weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.
Salary : $38,000 - $43,000
