What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Energy Technology Professor position at New Mexico Junior College?
The Adjunct Energy Technology Professor shall report to the Director of Energy Technology. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Achieve and maintain a high level of competency, demonstrating growth in the knowledge of his/her particular subject matter field(s) and in the ability to direct the student learning process.
- Work for the general improvement of overall instruction - including the recommendation of additions to the course library and instructional resources.
- Review and grade student assignment/exams in a timely manner.
- Continuously updates course materials to reflect current development in the field.
- Participate in a process of continual personal and professional improvement.
- Advise students and host student conferences (e.g. office hour meetings) as needed for student support.
- Follow all policies and procedures of NMJC as published by the Faculty Handbook, college catalog, and adjunct contract.
- Actively participate in the departmental and institutional goals and objectives designed to support the college mission.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
- Nothing contained herein shall limit the President in assigning the employee to any of the various college activities for which he/she would be qualified in order to meet the needs of New Mexico Junior College.
- Masters level or minimum 18 graduate hours in respective field required.
- 3 years minimum training or experience in Nuclear Energy preferred.
- Applicable industry certifications and/or 3 years of industry-relevant experience required
