GENERAL SUMMARY
The mortgage servicing representative role performs customer service functions, clerical operations, payment reminder calls, payment posting and monthly reporting. The position requires the application of various procedures and knowledge of the business unit’s product(s) and application(s) to be performed in accordance industry regulatory requirements, federal and state laws. Primary responsibilities include various Mortgage Loan Servicing functions from New Loan Set Up to Payoff/Disposition

- Provides courteous, timely customer service/information (oral and written) to all MFA borrowers, or to creditors on the borrower’s behalf
- Customer Service Calls and related activities
- Payment Reminder/Collection Calls
- Preparation and creation of reports and data analysis
- Performs other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
- Employees are required to comply with safety regulations, procedures, and protocols
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; Two years of directly related experience in mortgage servicing or customer service fields. Excellent communications and customer service skills. Ability to use software solutions to create and maintain reports (working knowledge of excel). General knowledge of mortgage loan accounting is preferred.
