Salary Range: | $16.00 - $19.11 |

Job Description
Special Education EA’s are student-based instructional and behavioral supports for students receiving special
education services in both the general education and special education settings.
Instructional Support
- Mentor, coach, and inspire students to be engaged in classroom assignments
- Reinforce and review concepts and skills. Assist students in activities initiated by the classroom teacher.
- Carry out the instructional program as planned by the teacher
- Monitor and check student work
- Gather/track data as requested
- Assist small groups or individual students as requested
- Support SPED students – individually and/or within groups
Organizational Support
- Before and After school duties including, but not limited to bus loading/unloading, arrival and dismissal
assistance, monitoring students in transition between programs
- Hallway monitoring and ensuring students follow the RHINO Way
- Support operational and academic staff during special events
- Materials support as needed including but not limited to producing materials, setting up activities,
collecting/distributing work to students
Behavior Management Support
- Be a positive influence on all staff and students
- Observe and chart data as requested
- Circulate classrooms/areas with students to provide support as needed
Salary : $16 - $19
