What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Team Member position at New Morning Market?
Grocery Warehouse Associate - FT
- Uphold proper delivery/receiving protocols for all incoming deliveries.
- Responsible for receiving orders for quality control. Check deliveries for damage, quality, and accuracy, and note discrepancies on invoice as needed.
- Ensure product selection accuracy by rotating products, removing damaged or out-of-date stock and checking codes.
- Maintain warehouse area in a clean, orderly condition, meeting health department standards.
- Manage inventory that is not moving, overstocked or in danger of going out of stock. Participate in inventory counts.
- Open to working flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in natural/organic foods, grocery or retail preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
