The children are either at the beginning or end of their day and caring staff can make all the difference to a child during those important before and after school hours. Our off-site School Age programs in Manchester are looking for qualified staff to join our team. Flexible schedules available, hours are 6:45-8:45am and/or 2:00-5:30pm M-F.
Duties
Responsibilities Include:
- Daily Attendance Paperwork
- Daily crafts/gym games
- Provide aid in a medical emergency
- Help maintain a safe environment for children and staff
- Encourage positive behavior guidance
- Greet parents and children daily
- Help train new staff members as needed
- Attend monthly staff meetings at your program and the NMS main office
- Follow day to day staff assignments
- Communicate with the office when needed
Requirements
- At least 20 years old
- High School Diploma
- Associates Degree in a child related field or 12 Education Credits and 1000 hours of experience working with school age children
Nice To Haves
- 1 years of experience working with school age children
- CPR/First aid
- 1 years of supervisory experience
