We are currently looking for a Director of Merchandising Operations to join our team.
The Director of Merchandising Operations provides leadership to a dynamic team, driving excellence in replenishment, inventory management, and supply chain strategy for our clients. This role focuses on inspiring and managing team members by setting clear expectations, fostering a motivating culture, and holding individuals accountable to performance goals. Acting as a key liaison between internal teams and Walmart stakeholders, the Director ensures operational efficiency, proactive collaboration, and client satisfaction while aligning with core values and business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountable: Provide vision, cultivate core values, and oversee performance through measurable metrics while aligning operational efforts with strategic goals.
- Replenishment and Inventory Management: Develop and execute replenishment dashboards, maintain consistent in-stock levels, analyze performance, and address inventory challenges to optimize seasonal or event needs.
- Supply Chain and Forecasting Optimization: Assess supply chain end-to-end to ensure OTIF/SQEP compliance, create and refine supply forecasts, and track key metrics to streamline operations.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Walmart replenishment teams, sales counterparts, and clients to proactively address supply opportunities, deliver timely updates, and maintain productive partnerships
Skills and Qualifications:
- Significant experience working directly for Walmart or Sam’s Club OR on the vendor side calling on Walmart or Sam’s Club
- 8 years of relevant experience required, including team leadership
- Proficiency in sales forecasting and retailer data analytics (e.g., Luminate, Retail Link)
- Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills, with an executive presence and customer focus
- Strategic thinking, forward-looking mindset, and effective problem-solving abilities
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
