What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at New Oberpfalz Brewing?
We are seeking a part-time server to join our staff.
16-24 Hours Per Week
Duties Include:
Greeting and Seating of Guests
Assisting Guests with Food and Beverage Order Decisions
Working effectively in a Point of Sale System
Pouring and Serving Beer, Soft Drinks, and Wine
Serving of Food and Beverages
Assuring Guest Satisfaction
Working Well Within a Small Team in a Busy Environment
Cleaning, Mopping, Organizing, Washing and Storing of Tableware and Other Items
Other Duties as Needed
Qualifications:
Applicants should be outgoing and friendly, have a passion to provide excellent service, a positive outlook, a strong work ethic, fundamental knowledge of foods & beverages, the ability to work long hours on their feet, and a desire to work in a positive environment.
Candidates should ideally have open availability to work any day(s) as needed, including nights and weekends, and this position will be balanced between weekday and weekend shifts. Some schedule flexibility is possible. This is a great position for college or trade school students while pursuing your education.
Candidates must possess a valid Indiana Alcohol Server Permit.
Compensation:
Base Rate of $8.00 per hour tip share. ALL tip income is collected and taxes come off your paychecks so you do not have a cash tip liability with the IRS in April. The average hourly wage for this position will fluctuate between $18 and $35 per hour, depending on the shifts work and what each day brings us.
In order for our service staff to build personal financial history and create a better life for themselves, your state and federal taxes, medicare, and social security taxes are paid.
