Position Summary
The Director of Deposit Operations, Assistant Deputy’s primary function and responsibility is to lead the development of Digital Banking, Treasury Management, and Deposit related products and services. Working with the Director of Operations to design, plan, and execute department functions to achieve effective operational internal control, efficient product and service delivery via various channel, and support business initiative in achieving operational strategic objectives.
Supervisory responsibilities
- Indirectly supervises three (3) employees within the Operations department(s).
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
(Duties not limited to those provided here):
- Leading the development of various depository products and services.
- Work closely with the executive team, Director of Operations, and retail branch partners to realize depository strategy
- Work with Depository Operations Team to developing and bringing to market depository products that meet community needs locally and client needs internationally.
- Monitor effectiveness and return on existing products and services. Plan and lead various projects including product evaluation, vendor selection, project management and implementation.
- Establishes standards for digital banking and treasury management services related policy and procedures.
- Establish effective reporting around each product that clearly communicates value, risk, and trends of each product or service.
- Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and works with the Director of Operations on budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure of the operations department.
- Comply with and adhere to all applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field required.
- At least 15 years of experience required.
- Knowledge required in Digital Banking, Treasury Management Services, Project Management, and related compliance requirements.
- Solid knowledge of the overall operations departmental function.
- Requires active listening, strong business plan writing skills, excellent communication skills, negotiation skills, conflict resolution skills.
- Fluency in a second language preferred but not required.
