Full-Time, Non-Union, Non-Exempt Position
$16.35 per hour, 25 hours per week
Monday through Friday, 11:00am-4:00pm
BASIC FUNCTION OF CLERICAL ASSISTANT:
General office duties including typing, answering client concerns & relaying program communications to the correct employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF CLERICAL ASSISTANT:
- Manage communications with customers daily and direct clients to the correct place
- Answer telephones; take accurate information from callers; make appropriate referrals when necessary
- Completing end of day reports for our funders
- Type monthly menus and program correspondence/documents.(Newletters) on topics provided by upper management
- Assemble monthly donation letters to be mailed out using folding machine
- Maintain office security by following sfety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Keep the reception area tidy and presentable with all necessary stationery and materials.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Monitor office supplies and inform Director when orders need to be placed
- Organize & sort through Elder Services Mail and provide to the proper person to file accordingly
- Copying, shredding, filing and other general office duties
- Assisting Data Coordinator, Administrative Coordinator & Community Coordinator with paperwork and client concerns as needed
- Data entry into software systems
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS OF CLERICAL ASSISTANT:
Education:
HS or GED
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience in general office work. Bi-lingual Required (Spanish).
