18.78 per hour, 25 hours per week
Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am-1 : 00pm / 1 : 00pm-5 : 00pm
BASIC FUNCTION OF PROGRAM AIDE / RECEPTIONIST :
To provide program support to the Early Childhood Division through office and reception duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF PROGRAM AIDE / RECEPTIONIST :
- Maintains database for program requirements.
- Meets and greets parents, family members and community representatives.
- Serves as attendant for telephone system (answering / screening calls, respond to inquiries, relay messages).
- Serves as attendant for door security system (monitoring who is entering the building).
- Operates personal computers and office machines (Xerox, Facsimile).
- May type and proof letters, forms, documents and statistical reports.
- Composes and types routine correspondence as necessary.
- Maintain appointment calendar including intake appointments.
- Participate in scheduled staff conferences and meetings.
- Supports parent involvement and engagement throughout ECD.
- Notifies appropriate people of meetings.
- Provide translation for Spanish speaking parents.
