What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fine Arts Camp Teacher position at New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts?
The New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts is hiring for its Summer Camp Program during the Months of June and July from Monday June 2nd through Friday August 1st. The ideal candidates will be avialable to work extensively during that timeline focusing on the camp program. Strong candidates will be able to work with students from ages 4 through 13 and they will have some expertise in the studio arts. The camp will explore the artistic media of Drawing, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Ceramics and Mixed Media as well as curation. Experience with youth arts education is mandatory. Teachers will be asked to structure out a curriculum for their students and facilitate an exciting and welcoming classroom environment.
