Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the grocery department team, including Assistant Managers and staff.
- Oversee inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Conduct employee orientation and training development programs to enhance team performance.
- Utilize POS systems to manage sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Organize promotional displays and product placements to maximize sales opportunities.
- Monitor financial performance metrics, including sales trends and inventory turnover rates.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a grocery management role or similar position.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent math skills for managing budgets, payroll, and inventory calculations.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with customers and staff.
- Experience in training development, fostering a positive work environment, and enhancing team capabilities.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and POS technology is preferred.

Pay: $18.50 - $22.50 per hour
