POSITION SUMMARY:
The Cashless PA supports the Cashless Coordinator in all aspects of festival cashless payment operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Pre-Festival:
- Assist in maintaining the Cashless production schedule as needed.
- Develop and update Google Docs/Spreadsheets related to Cashless operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate the installation of network devices, signage, and other required items.
- Support the programming of POS systems and train Merchandising, Food & Beverage, and Cash Exchange booth managers and sales staff.
- Assist with coordinating the distribution and collection of POS devices for Food & Beverage Vendors.
- Support Cashless staff and vendor orientation.
Festival:
- Assist the Cashless Coordinator in completing daily sales summary reports for all Food & Beverage Vendors to support weekly settlements.
- Support weekly settlement procedures.
- Assist in deploying and managing Zone Managers & Monitors for troubleshooting and operational support.
Post-Festival:
- Assist with breaking down and packing POS devices for storage or return.
- Support the Merchandising Admin with final sales and inventory summary reports for all merchandise items.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Using the Absentee Request Form, it is the responsibility of each employee and their supervisor to accurately report their absenteeism to the Festival Finance Office.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues.
- Give any document, computer program, design, or other intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival (and, therefore, belonging to the Jazz Festival) to the Festival through your
- supervisor or department head at the end of each production year, or upon request.
- Attend and complete any required training.
- Complete all required Feedback Forms and Final Reports.
- Must attend and complete any required training.
- Perform all other work-related duties, as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Google Docs. Knowledge of MS Access is a plus.
- Basic understanding of financial accounting, including percentages, debits, and credits.
- Strong organizational and task management skills with the ability to follow directions.
- Production experience preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Ability to move quickly across festival grounds and perform possible heavy lifting.
