POSITION SUMMARY:
The Merchandise Booth Inventory Manager is responsible for effectively tracking and distributing T-Shirts and merchandise for their assigned T-Shirt Booth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Utilize approved merchandise tracking system to manage inventory.
- Receive official festival merchandise and verify beginning inventory.
- Input relevant information into the designated database.
- Assist in setting up the T-Shirt Tent, including arranging racks and displaying merchandise.
- Restock merchandise as needed throughout the day.
- Assist customers and staff with inquiries regarding T-Shirt availability.
- Assist the Tent manager in closing procedures at the end of each festival day.
- Conduct inventory of all official merchandise at the end of each festival day.
- Perform physical inventory of all stock.
- Count and record all merchandise inventory.
- Conduct final physical inventory.
- Pack inventory for shipment or pickup.
- Break down the tent.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Using the Absentee Request Form, it is the responsibility of each employee and their supervisor to accurately report their absenteeism to the Festival Finance Office.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues.
- Give any document, computer program, design, or other intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival (and, therefore, belonging to the Jazz Festival) to the Festival through your
- supervisor or department head at the end of each production year, or upon request.
- Attend and complete any required training.
- Complete all required Feedback Forms and Final Reports.
- Must attend and complete any required training.
- Perform all other work-related duties, as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Previous production experience is preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-stress workplace.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
- Basic understanding of accounting procedures.
- Capable of performing some heavy lifting.
