What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Inventory Counter position at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival?

POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Counter is responsible for tracking the distribution and sales of all merchandise sold at assigned concessions booths.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Verifying booth beginning inventories daily
- Recording inventory data on Daily Booth Inventory Sheets
- Tracking inventory movements between booths
- Verifying booth ending inventories daily
- Reconciling cash sales receipts to calculate sales based on inventory
- Completing end of day paperwork prior to leaving site
- Responsible for taking pictures of all Concessions Booths
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Production experience
- Comfortable working in fast paced and high stress workplace
- Computer literate in Excel, Access, and Word. Experience with Google Docs and Spreadsheet.
- Basic accounting procedures
- Will require some heavy lifting
REQUIREMENTS:
- Employee must maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues.
- Any document, computer program, design, or other intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival belongs to
- the Jazz Festival and must be given to the Festival through your supervisor or department head at the end of each production year, or upon request.
- Must complete all required Feedback Forms and Final Reports.
- Employee must be capable of performing other work-related duties as assigned.
