Small law firm in CBD seeks clerical / legal assistant to work as part of team of 4 attorneys and staff with busy insurance defense litigation practice. Job includes document and file management, calendar and scheduling, electronic filing, pleadings and discovery. Knowledge of typical Office suite programs (Word, Outlook, etc.) required, working knowledge of Louisiana and Federal Court filing process preferred. Legal experience preferred, insurance defense experience preferred but not required. Successful applicant will be organized, self-starter, tech-savvy, solution-oriented, ready to work as part of a team.
