Position Summary
The New Orleans Saints communications spring/summer student assistants will provide support to the club’s communications department.
This position is seasonal and will run from May 22-August 22, 2025.
Reports to: Football Communications/Publications Director
Direct Reports: None
Status: Part-time hourly, non-exempt

What You Will Be Doing
- Writing, editing and proofreading press releases and contributing elements and proofreading game releases
- Assisting in writing and proofreading of 2025 Media Guide and 2025 Yearbook
- Writing of content and proofreading for 2025 Saints Gameday programs, including player profiles and other supplemental content
- Credentialing for veterans minicamp, OTAs and assisting in start of in-season game credentialing
- Research of statistical information for both internal and external use
- Assisting in facilitation of media operations of team activities (OTAs, veterans minicamp and training camp) open to media
- Assistance with Community Relations/Alumni events
- Fulfillment of sponsorship, marketing and digital media/production requests for players, including media days
- Assisting in fulfillment of team headshots for players, coaches and staff
- Additional duties as assigned by the football communications staff
- Possessing bachelor’s degree or working towards bachelor’s degree
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign and Photoshop
- Ability to work independently with a task with limited guidance and complete it with additional follow-through and follow-up when necessary
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to handle physical requirements, including set up for events
- Ability to interact with team’s players and staff both internally and externally in a professional manner
- Ability to work with and around confidential information when necessary
