Position Summary:
The Video Production Coordinator will work with the Football Operations video and production teams to assist with the logging, capturing, and editing of team video content and the creation of player/team highlights throughout the football season. This content will be played for the team in meetings and throughout the facility. We're looking for someone with a creative approach to content creation who is also enthusiastic about producing top-quality, motivational content.
What you will be doing:
From June through January, this person will 100% support Football Operations. The main responsibilities will be to:
- Create entertaining highlight video content for the team
- Assist in shooting and editing weekly team show
- Assist in shooting practice video
- Archive, log and maintain game footage for future use
- Work with other departments to address video production needs, as time allows
- Other duties as assigned
From February through June, this person will still support Football Operations, but may have the ability to support the Broadcast Operations department with Pelicans and Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in television, communications, animation, digital media or motion graphics.
- 2-4 years’ experience in motion graphics, animation, video editing and/or live video production.
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Proficiency with various graphic, video and motion graphic software.
- Experience working in a Mac based environment.
- Creative individual who can collaborate in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to work within a fast-paced, deadline oriented, high-energy environment.
- Must be willing to work irregular hours, which include evenings, weekends and some holidays.
