School Bus Driver and Attendant Positions
We are currently seeking qualified individuals to fill the positions of part-time school bus driver and attendant. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and providing assistance to the bus driver as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Operating a school bus in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of students on board
- Communicating effectively with students, parents, and school staff
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid New York State CDL-B license with Air Brake, Passenger, and School Bus endorsements
- At least 21 years of age for drivers, 19 years of age for attendants
- Meet the requirements set forth in the Rules and Regulations of the New York State Commissioner of Education and the New York State Department of Transportation
Attendant Role:
- Assisting the bus driver in maintaining a safe and orderly environment
- Providing support to students with special needs
