School Bus Driver Position
We are seeking highly motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as part-time school bus drivers. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.
Responsibilities:
- Driving a school bus in a safe and efficient manner
- Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the transportation department
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid New York State CDL-B license with Air Brake, Passenger, and School Bus endorsements
- At least 21 years of age
- Meet the requirements set forth in the Rules and Regulations of the New York State Commissioner of Education and the New York State Department of Transportation
Bus Attendant Requirements:
- Ability to work well with children and maintain order
- Some knowledge of first aid methods
- Dependable and courteous
- Good judgment and physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position
