What You’ll Do
New Paradigm for Education is seeking a friendly and reliable Part-Time Lunch Room Attendant to join our lunchroom team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to students and staff during lunch hours and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the lunchroom. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating a positive dining experience.
Job Requirements:
Must be available between 7:15 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a lunch room attendant or customer service role is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
- Commitment to providing a positive experience for students and staff.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Greet students and staff warmly, providing friendly and efficient service during lunch periods.
Distribute and keep count of meals, both in classrooms and in the cafeteria, and swipe student cards.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, assisting students with questions and promoting healthy meal options.
Monitor and restock supplies as needed, ensuring that the lunchroom is well-organized and adequately stocked for service.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist with cleaning tables and dining areas as needed.
Work closely with kitchen staff and other lunchroom personnel to ensure a smooth and coordinated lunch service.
Salary : $15 - $20
