Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Law Legal Assistant to support our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real property purchase and sale, landlord tenant, lending, business leverage, and a core desire to learn, advance and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with our attorneys.
- Draft and manage real estate contracts.
- Assist buyers and sellers directly with real estate purchases and sales.
- Review, draft, and understand closing documents, title commitments, notes, mortgages, and surveys.
- Basics understanding of HOA & COA’s, review estoppels, rules, and decs.
- File Florida entities, and perform basic entity transactions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate law working on real estate transactions.
- Strong knowledge of notes, mortgages, satisfactions, and judgments.
- Understanding of general business and real estate purchase and sale leverages and strategies.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoy working in teams
- Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Google Docs, modern efficiency software tools, and digital efficiency benefits.
- Familiarity with Closing View or Clio software is a significant plus.
Location: Downtown West Palm Beach, FL
Job Type: Full-time, in office, flexibility to accommodate young families.
Pay: $65,000.00 and more commensurate with depth of knowledge and experience
