The Care Team Assistant Manager (CTAM) is a dynamic leadership role that goes beyond a typical Care Team Shift Lead. You'll not only guide and support your team on the floor, but you'll also be the mastermind behind creating efficient care team schedules using our Company-approved software. Your mission: ensure seamless staff coverage and maintain top-notch care for our residents by proactively managing absences and securing replacements swiftly.

Responsibilities:
- Retain and perform duties of Caregiver, Trainer, Med Passer, Mentor, and Shift Lead.
- Provide timely updates on open shifts and actions taken to fill them to CTM, ED, or Weekend Leader.
- Communicate effectively across all mediums (verbal, written, phone) about schedules and changes with team members and managers.
- Coordinate with on-call team members to fill open shifts based on their availability.
- Attend all required training sessions, team meetings, town halls, and complete online learning.
- Ensure all shift documentation is completed and action items are addressed.
- Provide resident care and medication administration as directed by the CTM.
- Notify nursing leadership of any resident condition changes or care issues.
- Maintain records of time-off requests, approvals, tardiness, and missed punches per procedures.
- Support “on-call” scheduling as needed by the community.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED (per state laws).
- Completion of New Perspective’s training for Caregiver, Med Passer, Mentor, and Shift Lead.
- Must work regularly scheduled hours (not PRN or Part Time).
- Experience with older adults in senior living, long-term care, or home health preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using computers and electronic devices.
- Effective English communication (verbal and written).
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
