Immediately hiring for a part-time Office Assistant 8am-2pm M-F
Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President of Operations and under direct supervision of the Controller, Director of Human Resources, and CEO, the Benefits Specialist/Office Assistant supports the Organization’s efforts and performs the full scope of responsibilities related to managing employee benefits and other office administrative work.
Job Description
- Process benefits-related transactions including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Counsel eligible staff members and their supervisors and confirm eligibility for FMLA leave, critical dates, and deadlines.
- Provides detailed reporting for company guidelines.
- Provides a positive working and educational environment to consumers and staff.
- Perform or assist with compliance tasks and record keeping including but not limited to local ordinances, Federal and State Labor Law postings, communication and documentation requirements, legal requirements and government reporting regulations, and benefit plan audit and compliance
- Owns tracking all spreadsheets and rosters pertaining to benefits.
- Maintaining data integrity while entering new information and changes into multiple systems
- Assist in company document organization and optimization.
- Maintains current copies of business documents.
- Must be able to drive a company vehicle in order to run errands and purchase supplies.
Desired Requirements
*A valid California Drivers License is required.
- Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Highly organized.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to multitask a variety of tasks or projects simultaneously.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
