The New Philadelphia City School District seeks a highly qualified ELementary ELA teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
The successful candidate will meet with all district students in grades K-2 on a six day rotation.
The successful candidate must meet one or more of the following qualifications:
The teacher will meet with the students during their regular "specials" rotation.
The successful candidate will meet with all district students in grades K-2 on a six day rotation.
The successful candidate must meet one or more of the following qualifications:
- Has a K-12 reading endorsement
- Completed a master's degree with a major in reading or literacy
- Earned a passing score on a rigorous test of principles of scientifically research-based reading instruction (Praxis 5205-formerly Praxis 5203)
- Holds an applicable license (PK-3, 4-9, or K-12 intervention specialist) issued on or after July 1, 2017
The teacher will meet with the students during their regular "specials" rotation.
