Job Description: Weekend Live-In Site Coordinator
Position Summary: The weekend Live-In Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and supervision of the residential program for youth. This role includes direct care responsibilities, staff supervision, program management, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the residential program, ensuring a structured and supportive environment.
- Develop and implement program policies and procedures in line with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with the Program Director to ensure the program meets its goals and objectives.
- Staff Supervision:
- Supervise, train, and support residential staff, including Youth Counselors.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, provide performance feedback, and handle any disciplinary actions as needed.
- Develop staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Resident Care:
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment for residents, addressing their physical, emotional, and educational needs.
- Implement and monitor individual care plans for each resident.
- Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution as necessary.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including CF Operating Procedure No. 215-6.
- Report critical incidents in accordance with organizational policies and state requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all residents and program activities.
- Community and Stakeholder Relations:
- Foster positive relationships with residents' families, community partners, and external agencies.
- Participate in community outreach and engagement activities as required.
- Serve as a liaison between the residential program and external stakeholders.
- Living Arrangements:
- Reside on-site in the residential facility, providing 24/7 support and supervision as needed.
- Be available for emergency situations and on-call duties outside of regular hours.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a residential program or similar setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification required. Additional certifications in crisis intervention and child welfare are preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in conflict resolution and crisis management.
- Knowledge of state regulations and compliance requirements for residential programs.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to participate in physical activities and lead recreational programs.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Working Conditions:
- Live-in position with private accommodations provided within the residential facility.
- Frequent interaction with youth who may have behavioral and emotional challenges.
- Regular exposure to potentially stressful and emergency situations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $700.00 - $1,000.00 per week
