Channel Sales Specialist (CSS)
CSS will assist the Industrial Distribution (IDD) sales team by performing a number of tasks, working on system tasks, and as an IDD department resource, including :
- Tracking and follow up on large, direct accounts that are transferred to reseller partners
- Follow up on distributor leads acquired from the web
- Support for reseller national account efforts, including follow up calls and tasks
- Follow up on large bid opportunities, both for partner resellers and house accounts
- Follow up and tracking of sales from Spill Risk Assessments conducted by our Outside Sales team
- Monitoring, tracking and renewal of Grainger cost support claims
- Follow up on leads from tradeshows
- Sales support for partner reseller Inside Sales teams in particular Motion & Grainger
- Serve as a resource for our Grippy team, including the support of large customer rollouts
- Assist with field sales calls and Spill Risk Assessments as needed
- Backup order entry and sales support for key reseller partners Safety-Kleen, NAPA, CAT, others
Qualifications :
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or other related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational and analytical skills (including basic Excel spreadsheets)
- Must be able to represent our company with professionalism
