Position at New Pig Corporation Corporate Sourcing Specialist The Corporate Sourcing Specialist will report to the Director of Procurement and is an individual contributor who provides functional procurement leadership while managing technical supplier relationships and hands-on purchasing of services, MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) and capital expenditures. This position also executes the operational strategy, business processes, and systems for material procurement and supply chain management. Responsibilities
- Build new and lead existing relationships with key suppliers to cultivate a shared understanding of New Pig requirements around cost, quality, and delivery
- Execute sourcing and buyer functions in support of requisitions across New Pig
- Lead the negotiation of capital expenditures, services and MRO to ensure best cost and terms for New Pig
- Competitively quote and onboard new suppliers of services, capital expenditures and MRO as needed to ensure consistent pricing and supply
- Measure and communicate supplier performance via KPI’s
- Manage or advise in the ordering and forecasting of services, capital expenditures or MRO
- Effectively use financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure supply chain performance for potential cost reduction and / or service improvement
- Communicate with Senior Management on short-term and long-term objectives. Provide and distribute regular information (reports, verbal communication, dashboards, to communicate operational results, trends and costs.
- Support the development, implementation and improvement of systems used in procurement
- Contribute to a positive work environment that supports the New Pig culture
