ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will assist in the design, development, and implementation of embedded systems and RF communications products. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow and develop technical skills while working on a wide range of projects in electronics, embedded systems, control systems, and communications systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analysis of electronic solutions for various projects, including circuit design, control systems, and connected products.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to prepare electrical designs, specifications, and plans using software tools such as Altium, Mentor, and/or other design platforms.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
- Participate in the creation of technical documentation, including bills of materials, user manuals, test protocols, and engineering reports.
- Support the development of prototypes, perform calculations, and analyze data to improve designs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Assist in site inspections and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and codes.
- Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and prepare presentations on technical aspects of projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, standards, and best practices in electrical engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in electrical engineering. Entry level candidates will be considered.
- Familiarity with electrical design software (Altium is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems, and power distribution.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC, IEC) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of microprocessors is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of RF devices is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior engineers.
